There were 40 white students enrolled in Meadowland Charter District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 21.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Meadowland Charter District schools welcomed 68 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 58.8% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Meadowland Charter District roughly covers schools within Kendall County and has a main office in Boerne.

Among the two schools in Meadowland Charter District schools, Oaks Academy recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 26 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
