JANUARY 31, 2023 — As students return to campus, many are thinking about how to turn their degree into a fulfilling career.
To help those students connect with employers, the UTSA Career Center (UCC) is hosting 100+ companies at several career expos this semester.
They include:
STEM Career Expo
Wednesday, February 8 • 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. H-E-B Student Union Ballroom
All Majors Career Expo
Wednesday, February 8 • 3 to 7 p.m. H-E-B Student Union Ballroom
Fair Prep Series Workshops
February 13-21 • Noon to 1 p.m. Attendees may sign up for in-person or virtual sessions to prepare for the HSI Career Collaborative Virtual Career Fair
HSI Career Collaborative Virtual Career Fair
Wednesday, February 22 • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Online via the Handshake virtual fair platform
UTSA students, alumni and staff are invited to attend the STEM and All Majors Career expos.
An active Handshake account is required to attend the HSI Career Collaborative Fair.
The UCC helps Roadrunners discover, pursue and achieve their unique career goals by offering career and job-search tools and resources, including individual counseling, mock interviews, resume reviews and professional networking assistance and more.

To help students makes the best impression possible, the center offers the following tips for job fairs:
Dress appropriately. The dress code for these events is business casual.
Prepare by researching the companies that will be attending the STEM Career Expo and the All Majors Career Expo. Participating employers include Accenture Federal Services, Union Pacific Railroad, USAA, MITRE, National Security Agency, OCI Solar Power, AT&T, Enterprise Holdings, Health Plan One, H-E-B, The Hartford, Cintas and many others.
Update your LinkedIn profile before you arrive and bring plenty of copies of your resume. Reference VMock and Aspire (in VMock) for resume and LinkedIn assistance.
