The City of Converse will recognize local Purple Heart Recipients, by memorializing their award and service on the Converse Heroes Memorial Monument. This will be the first year the city will honor recipients by engraving their names on one of six pillars representing each branch of military service: Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force. Join us as we unveil the names of our local heroes and honor those who have served at this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled for November 11th, at 10:00 A.M., at the Converse Senior Center, 405 S. Seguin.
