City of Helotes recently issued the following announcement.
Yesterday February 16th, 2022 Texas Secretary of State John Scott released a message to Texans eligible to vote by mail, providing step-by-step instructions on new identification requirements for mail-in ballot materials. The deadline for an Application for Ballot by Mail (ABBM) to be received by county Early Voting Clerks is Friday, February 18, 2022.
Some reminders:
-The ABBM must be sent to the Bexar County Elections Administrator; Not to the Helotes City Secretary.
-The ABBM can be submitted via email to Bexar County Elections at votebymail@bexar.org
