Alamo Colleges District recently issued the following announcement.

To ensure the safety of our community while continuing the highest level of service to its students, the Alamo Colleges District is extending temporary adjustments to its operations through Sunday, February 6, with the plan to resume on-site operations on Monday, February 7.

The Alamo Colleges District has been monitoring the risk level of the Omicron variant and will continue to monitor the levels and infection rates in our community.

Most classes will continue meeting remotely unless otherwise communicated by the instructor. Students enrolled in select classes requiring in-person attendance will be notified by their instructors.

In Spring 2022, the Alamo Colleges District will continue to deploy the following COVID-19 safety measures:

  • COVID-19 PCR screening will be available to all students. Find student screening hours and locations here.
  • Metro Health are operating COVID-19 screening sites at the Alamo Colleges District, which are open to the public.
  • COVID-19 PCR screening remains mandatory for Alamo Colleges District employees.
  • Indoor masking is strongly encouraged.
  • Health screenings and temperature checks will continue.
  • We will continue to encourage vaccines and boosters for eligible faculty, staff and students.
  • We encourage faculty, staff and students to take the Alamo Colleges District (ACD) Pledge to show a commitment to keeping our Alamo Colleges District family safe and healthy.
