North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.
Yesterday, we celebrated the upcoming 2022 100th anniversary of the “Texas Open” and the dedication of a Texas Historical Marker for the Brackenridge Park Golf Course - Alamo City Golf Trail as the original home of the “Texas Open.” The event commemorated the third oldest golf tournament on the PGA Tour and featured past Valero Texas Open winners, famed golfers Lee Trevino and David Ogrin.
Congratulations to our Visionary Council member, Valero Energy, for hosting the annual tournament- we’re proud to showcase San Antonio every year!
