Thanks to a Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce stimulus program, there is more than $300,000 in grants available for Boerne businesses.
According to Spectrum Local News, the Chamber is offering the Boerne Strong Stimulus Program. The program will offer assistance to small businesses that have been harmed by COVID-19.
Chamber President and CEO Kimberley Blohm said there are about 800 businesses registered with the Chamber and that while many are reopening, there is still a dire need for help.
“It’s really business retention that we are focusing on right now and economic stability of saying, ‘Hey, we are going to be here for you,’” Blohm said.
The grants will be available for businesses with fewer than 50 employees and be awarded in late May.
