The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2025 in Bexar County , while total sales decreased by 29.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2025, 10,703 homes were sold in the county, with sale prices averaging $174,200. This is a 0.8% increase over the $172,850 median sale price during the same period in 2024, when there were 15,185 homes sold.

U.S. home prices continued to rise in 2025, with the national median reaching about $447,000 in June. That’s up 1.13% from a year earlier, according to Redfin. The data also show a significant gap in supply and demand, with 36% more sellers than buyers (a difference of 508,715 homes). By Redfin’s definition, a balanced market has seller and buyer numbers within 10% of each other.
